The four-day basic course of interactive developmental psychotherapy, DDP, is basic training in the attachment-oriented DDP treatment model and method of operation. The DDP approach gives therapy and nursing professionals effective tools to understand and help children and young people and their families. The method combines theoretical and research knowledge from different areas: knowledge about developmental traumas, attachment theory, intersubjectivity and child development is combined into a therapeutic approach, which helps to build human relationships and dismantle traumas.
